Bastech, Inc. in conjunction with one of our foundry customers, would like to present "3D Printed Patterns - Pros and Cons of the Processes Available Today". The intention of this presentation is to review and discuss all of the options available today for generating CAD-based patterns for investment casting. Bastech has a rich history of providing patterns to investment casting foundries. Our experiential knowledge of the various pattern types enables Bastech to provide our customers with the best pattern based on their technical, physical and financial requirements. Some of the processes we will be reviewing include; voxeljet, quick-cast, 3d printed "real wax", and more.

As an industry professional, it is important to understand the characteristics of each process. We will be comparing surface finish, burn-out cleanliness, intricate feature production capabilities and associated costs to name a few.
