Gate removal from investment castings continues to be a labor intensive operation requiring a skilled employee in order to result in a quality casting. By working closely with A.W. Bell, Texas Precision Metalcraft was able to address these concerns on a family of parts that run in large quantities. The solution provided by A.W. Bell has given TPM increased flexibility in the finishing department while also improving the quality of the castings produced.
