Since 1947, the FEF has sponsored programs that have helped advance the industry through the grooming of its technical leaders. Working with Member Universities and metal casting companies, the foundation has sponsored networking events, promoted job fairs, awarded scholarships and advanced the interests young engineers, preparing them for technical leadership in the industry.

Today, our vision for the future lies in the investment that we make in our metal casting students. This paper addresses those investments, the ways that industry plays a role in forming the future, and how foundries can benefit from these investments.
